
Dr. Riordan is a native of Rock Hill, having attended Ebinport Elementary, Sullivan Middle, and Northwestern High schools. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of South Carolina for his undergraduate studies. After college, Dr. Riordan attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. In recognition of his high achievement in dental school, Dr. Riordan was chosen for membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Following dental school, Dr. Riordan went on to complete a 30-month residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Medical College of Georgia. Immediately after graduating, Dr. Riordan established his practice in Fort Mill in 2001, and added a Lake Wylie location in 2012.
Dr. Riordan is a past-President of the South Carolina Association of Orthodontists and actively serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina Orthodontic Residency Program, where he has taught clinical orthodontics to the residents since the program’s inception in 2006
Dr. Riordan and his wife, Heidi, are proud parents of two boys, Hudson and Jude.
